Graph of Ecological Footprint of Humans

Source: footprintnetwork.org

This shows the per-person Ecological Footprint in relation to the biocapacity in Fiji from the starting date of study in 1961. Both are measured in global hectares. The footprint per person varies in regards to consumption amounts and production efficiency. Biocapacity per person takes ecosystem management, ecosystem degradation, weather, population size, and agricultural practices such as fertilizer use all into account.
