There are over 300 islands in Fiji, however only 100 are inhabited. Many of the islands are extremely small and look like this:

Today, the main threat to Fiji's tropical forest ecosystem is human development. Major resorts and tourist attractions are harming the ecosystem and destroying much of the islands forests.
